  • Warranty Period

    Donfang® 3-Year Limited Warranty, Lithium-Ion Tool, Battery, Charger, Modular Storage System

    Every Donfang® Lithium-Ion Tool, Battery, Charger, Modular Storage System is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of THREE YEARS from the date of original purchase. Should any trouble develop during the three-year period, return the COMPLETE Lithium-Ion Tool, Battery, Charger, Modular Storage System to one of Donfang’s Factory or Authorized Service Centers. If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Donfang will repair (or at our option, replace) without charge.

  • Donfang® Warranty Limitations And Exclusions

    These warranties do not apply to Donfang Accessories or where:

    Repairs have been made or attempted by others

    Repairs are required because of normal wear and tear.

    The tool has been abused, misused, improperly maintained or operated. With regard to Lithium-Ion Tools, improper operation includes the use of a non-genuine or “knock-off” battery on a Lithium-Ion Tool or Charger. With regard to Laser Instruments, abuse includes liquid damage or physical damage caused by impact.

  • Donfang® 30 Day Return / Replacement Guarantee

    Every Donfang® product is thoroughly inspected and tested before leaving the factory. If you are not satisfied with any Donfang product within 30 days of purchase, return it and Donfang will provide, at Donfang’s option, a replacement or refund. This guarantee does not apply to Donfang® Accessories and/or wearable items such as bits, blades or cutters.

  • In No Event Shall Donfang Be Liable For

    (A) Any Indirect, Incidental, Punitive Or Consequential Damages Arising From The Sale Or Use Of The Products Sold Under These Warranties

    (B) Any Amount In Excess Of The Amount Actually Paid To Donfang For The Products Sold Hereunder. This Limitation Applies Both During And After The Terms Of The Warranty.

     

    Donfang Disclaims Liability For Any Implied Warranties, Including Implied Warranties Of “Merchantability” And “Fitness For A Specific Purpose” After The Expiration Of Any Express Warranty.

Why choose lithium battery as a replacement for lead-acid battery?

Lithium batteries are more efficient than lead-acid batteries, are maintenance-free and last up to 10 times longer. When used in forklifts, lithium batteries have a fast-charging feature that significantly reduces downtime and is more stable at low temperatures, making them particularly suitable for cold storage and 24/7 use.

How long do lithium batteries last?

Lithium batteries typically have a life span of 8-10 years, depending on the environment and maintenance, Donfang lithium batteries have a cycle life of over 3,500 cycles, which is 3-5 times that of lead-acid batteries, greatly reducing the frequency of replacements and providing greater long-term economic benefits.

Can The Forklift Batteries be opportunity charged?

Yes, Donfang forklift Batteries can be plugged in at any state of charge with absolutely no negative effects. In fact, opportunity charging can actually increase the lifetime of the battery.

Do The Forklift Batteries require periodic maintenance?

No, but an annual inspection is recommended by an authorized dealer to ensure maximum battery health and life.

Do I need to disconnect The Forklift Battery from the forklift to charge it?

Donfang Forklift batteries include drive away protection which does not allow the user to use the truck while charging. The battery does not need to be disconnected from the truck when charging.

At what temperature can the forklift lithium batteries be charged and discharged?

Donfang forklift lithium batteries should only be charged within the temperature range of 0°C to 45°C (32°F to 113°F) and discharged within the temperature range of -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F).

Do the packs require watering?

No, lithium-ion batteries do not require watering. They are completely sealed and produce no gas when charging. In addition, the electrolyte is made of organic solvents, so water should not be used.

What happens when the pack runs out of charge?

Once the battery reaches 10% SOC, LED will flash notifying the operator that the battery is about to go dead. We recommend plugging the pack in as soon as the initial buzzer sounds to prolong the life of the battery.

Do forklift lithium batteries need maintenance?

Definitely not. Unlike conventional batteries, forklift lithium battery is completely maintenance free. It does not require water refilling, equalisation charging or regular maintenance, thus saving labour and operating costs.
